Orthotics

All of our custom fabricated orthotics are built in our office by one of our highly trained professionals. Our certified orthotists are trained to measure, cast, modify and fit all of the following type of orthotic devices:

Custom Foot Orthotics

Our staff fabricates all of our foot orthotics by hand on site. Our orthotics can accommodate many foot deformities and alleviate pain by providing comfort and support. We use a variety of materials including cork, foams, and silicone gels to ensure that each device meets the individual's needs.

Custom AFO

We have been making custom AFO's for almost one hundred years. Although the materials and technologies have changed drastically during that time, our attention to detail and high standards have remained constant. We continue to add a leather backed strap for added comfort. Our technicians fabricate a variety of orthotic types to match any diagnosis including PLS, Articulating, and Solid AFO's.

C.R.O.W. Boot

A C.R.O.W. or Charcot Restraint Orthotic Walker, provides total contact and support in all planes of motion at the ankle joint. C.R.O.W. Boots are typically used for diabetic ulcers and diabetic feet. A rocker bottom is used to allow for efficient ambulation.

Knee Orthosis

Our company also specializes in a variety and range knee orthoses. When additional support is required a Knee Ankle Foot Orthosis (KAFO) or an Hip Knee Ankle Foot Orthosis (HKAFO)  HKAFO's may be prescribed.  We can fabricate these long leg orthotic devices out of thermoplastic, metal and leather, or a hybrid depending on the diagnosis.

Shoe Modifications

Our cobbler is one of the best in the business! He is able to add a variety of shoe modifications including flares, lifts, rocker bottoms and wedges on most shoes. Modifications are typically subtle with materials that match the design and color scheme of the shoe.

Pediatrics

From  scoliosis bracing to custom AFO's, our clinicians are well educated in specific pediatric needs.  Our clinicians are well versed with Boston Overlap Braces and the Providence Scoliosis Bracing System, to name a few.

Spinal Orthotics

Bracing the spine takes an immense level of care and precision. We specialize in Boston Overlaps and Providence Braces for spondylosis and scoliosis. From lumbar braces to cervical collars and everything in between, our clinicians are well trained in spinal orthotics.
